Candidate filing week for open positions
Key Peninsula Metropolitan Park District has two board of commissioner seats up for election this fall. Anyone interested in running should be aware that the filing week to run for these positions is May 11-15, 2015.

Parks Appreciation Day ...
... is this Saturday, April 25, from 9 am to noon! We need your help, rain or shine! Bring your friends and family and help make your community a better place to live and play.
Sites include 360 Trails, Home Park, Rocky Creek Conservation Area and the Key Peninsula Civic Center. A free hot dog lunch for volunteers will be held afterward. For more information, visit our Parks Appreciation Day web page.
New caretaker needed at Gateway Park residence
Key Pen Parks is taking applications for a new caretaker at the Gateway Park residence, located at 10215 State Route 302, Gig Harbor, 98329.
The deadline to apply is May 15, 2015. The residence will be available August 1, 2015. This contracted position will be compensated with credit towards rent. The position reports to the Key Pen Parks Executive Director and/or their designee.

There is a $55 application fee per applicant. A tour of the residence will take place at 11 am on Saturday, May 9.
