Sticks & Stones Art Camp
Come join us at Volunteer Park for a week of nature based art from around the Key Peninsula! Get hands experience creating nature based projects and learn the basic study of flora and fauna by using leaves, pencils, papers, watercolors, and wood all inspired by nature. Space is limited.

British Soccer Camp August 9th -13th
British Soccer Camps are the largest soccer camp providers in the US and Canada! Over 100,000 players will learn the "Challenger Way" in these camps. "The Challenger Way" focuses on challenging players to improve with maximum participation, maximum touches on the ball, and maximum fun.  Simply put, no line drills, no long speeches, and lots of encouragement.

Skate Camp
Key pen Parks and All-A-Board Skate Shop welcome back Skate Camp 2010! Come join us for a week of stops, hops, and jumps from skate board instructor Seth Ivers. With over 21 years of skating experience and expertise in equipment, safety, competition, and teaching. Special guest skaters will also be on hand to help out. Fun and prizes for all participants! (Helmets Required)

Pierce County Sheriff & Key Pen Parks Presents: Junior Academy Camp
Key Pen Parks and the Pierce County Sheriff's Department are excited to offer a camp designed specifically for our younger students interested in law enforcement. During the week campers will collect evidence, see a K-9 officer in action, and participate in many other activities. Campers will receive a Junior Academy t-shirt with registration. Indoor Soccer
Key Pen Parks is offering an Indoor Soccer program designed just for the little guys and gals. This program gives youth the chance to learn and improve their skills and fundamentals of soccer. Scaled down equipment, specialized drills and games will be used to ensure success for all kids. Adult involvement is encouraged during sessions. Fee includes t-shirt.

Soccer Challenge
This event is a fun opportunity for boys and girls 14 and under to get a chance to test their soccer abilities and get all the benefits of positive competition. Each participant will receive one THROW-IN, one KICK FOR DISTANCE, one DRIBBLING trial, and two GOAL SHOT as part of the competition. Event will run rain or shine.  Must provide valid verification of date of birth.

Non-Contact Youth Flag Football    
Do you dream about playing football? Then come and participate in this non-contact, pass only league with emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, and participation. There are two leagues available, 1st/2 nd and 3rd /4th grades. This is a great way to introduce your child to the sport of football in a fun recreational setting. Players will be notified of team placement in late September. Season begins October 1 th and runs to November 20th , Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Fee includes team t-shirt.

Recreation Hip Hop
In this fun dance class students will learn the very popular style of dance for boys & girls. Students will improve endurance & flexibility while they learn the latest dance moves to upbeat music! Sweat pants, and/or tights, plus gym shoes are required.

This class is designed for our youth who love to dance! Focus will be given on all elements of dance for your future dancer to enjoy without making tough choices. Attention will be on terminology and etiquette in a positive and encouraging environment. Sweat pants, and/or tights, plus gym shoes are required.

Important Registration Information

Cancellation/Refund: A $5.00 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds and credits when requested more than one week prior to the start date of the course/program. Refunds and credits requested less than one week prior to the start date of the course/program will not be granted, unless authorized by the Executive Director. Full refunds will be issued if Key Pen Parks cancels a class due to insufficient registration.


Sports League Refund: No refunds of team fees are given once game schedules are complete.

 


 

Program Scholarships
Key Pen Parks offers program fee reduction scholarships. There is a limited number available and availability is based on income qualification guidelines detailed in the application.   Completed Scholarship Applications must be mailed or dropped off at the Park Office for processing by park staff.
