Key Pen Parks welcomes new Executive Director - Tracey Perkosky

Key Pen Parks is thrilled to welcome Tracey Perkosky as its new Executive Director. Her first day was July 27.
Tracey comes to the park district with more than 20 years of experience working in local governments, the private sector, and non-profits. Most recently, she served as the Parks Planning and Grants Manager with the City of Bothell, and also as the Interim Parks & Recreation Director. She also served communities in California before moving to Washington.
The community commitment and level of volunteerism with Key Peninsula residents are qualities Tracey was looking for in a new position and location. “And that made Key Pen Parks a natural fit for me,” she said. “I’m excited to be supporting the community and leading such an amazing staff!”
Tracey said especially during the current times, access to outdoor spaces is important to the mental and physical health of residents. “The creation and maintenance of these spaces for all to enjoy is what keeps me moving forward every day,” she said. “I’m looking forward to the continued work on Gateway Park, the trails, and the entire park system.”
Outside of managing Key Pen Parks, Tracey is an avid, but amateur, bird photographer, with an obsession for bald eagles. “So you may find me in the parks carrying my gear and staring at the trees or sky to capture a perfect moment,” she said. “Feel free to stop me and say ‘hello!’”
She looks forward to getting to know individuals in the community and encourages anyone reach out to her at tracey@keypenparks.com.
